Today I have a project I put together for this week's PPA (Pals Paper Arts) challenge. I got a late start, and was amazed by some of the things the other stampers had submitted. Click HERE to take a look and play along! All beautiful stuff. So here's the inspiration photo we were given:
Doesn't it just sing "Valentine's Day"? Anyhow, I mostly just used the colors, and even added a little pink. Here's what I came up with:
I ordered these wooden cubes online and they come in all sizes-these are 1". Then I cut 1"x1" squares of Brushed Silver Cardstock and adhered them to all sides. I used a combination of letters from the "Just Perfect Alphabet" stamp set and several of the mini images included in the Filled With Love set to further embellish the sides of the cubes. The 3x3 mini card uses the Impressions Rub-Ons that are available for a limited time in the Occasions Mini catalog. It's kind of hard to see, but if you look closely, I also pierced the edges using my Mat Pack.
