Today's share is a card I made for the Split Coast Card Sketch challenge that they do every Wednesday. The sketch was pretty simple, but I still always have a hard time deciding what I want to do with it.'s the sketch:

And here's what I did with it:

This is my first attempt at using the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper. It is so pretty, but as I thumb through the papers, it seems like every time, the rooster holds me up. I'm just not a rooster person. But finally I just decided to go with it! As you can see, I used the new Framelits to creatively cut out one of the roosters from the DSP, and the next larger Framelit to cut a mat. I think the Antique Brads and the Basic Pearls give it just enough dressing-up.
